I began my journey in chiropractic as a result of health challenges that never resolved with conventional approaches, yet greatly improved under chiropractic care. I continued to be amazed when other challenges that I had in relation to sensory processing changed as well.
I graduated Magna Cum Laude from Life Chiropractic College West. When I first started Chiropractic School, I remember sitting in a Central Neuroanatomy class and learning about how structures of the brain are formed, and how altered input to the brain can affect the course of development. I remember experiencing my AHA moment, realizing how impactful chiropractic care can be for a developing brain. My approach centers on a brain-based functional exam, and utilizes specific and gentle adjustments to facilitate changes in the nervous system that may help improve a wide range of challenges. My own experience with a sensitive sensory system and Neurodivergent brain have deeply influenced my unique style of care, which looks different than what you may have seen in other chiropractic offices. |
I continue my extensive training to be as well-versed as I possibly can for my practice members. I have spent thousands of hours studying and earning the following merits, in order to best serve the families I work with:
I currently live in Alameda with my husband and daughter, and our three cats and flock of chickens. I love spending time in nature, and enjoying the wonder of exploration. If I'm not playing with my kiddo, or crafting with plants and herbs, you’ll probably find me with my nose in a book, forever on the journey to learn more.
